| Wm Matthews CPA, SC was formed in 1988. Bill and his wife JoAnn
relocated to Elm Grove Wisconsin, returning to the state where he was raised and has
family ties, fulfilling a dream of owning his own business. Armed with powerful
experience, he committed the firm to providing service and quality reporting to small to
medium size firms as well as consulting with individuals. We are proud to provide an
environment that fosters the success of our client. We look at the whole client not just
a tax return or financial statement. Our first step is to find out the clients
expectations of us and their expectations of their business. Then together we
develop a plan of action to help the client reach their financial goals and objectives.
We monitor the plans progress on an ongoing basis by comparing the interim
financial information with our forecasts, and the clients accomplishments for the
interval. If needs have changed, with the clients help, we update the forecast and

detailed offerings. For some clients, we are their accounting department, while
other clients want only parts of the process done by us. Thus, we work with clients
to customize a package that fits their needs and their budget.
Our firm has acquired several accounting firms from the Milwaukee area. The staff
of these firms have been brought on board, thus the company has roots going back beyond
1988 and provides stability of time. Bill leads a firm that other C.P.A.'s and
accountants trust and respect. As the principle, the firms clients primary contact
is with Bill whose skills and experience leads and forms the financial core of the
firm. His personal service and swift response, to the clients, sets us apart from
the competition.
Our staff is a combination of full and part time associates that are
in a continuing educational process so they can provide the best service in these rapidly
changing times. Their backgrounds offer a variety of experience that helps us
service our multifaceted clients. As a sample: We have specialists in the accounting
medical practice field with over 20 years of experience each.
JoAnn Matthews, the Information Systems Manager, and Consultant, works
with clients providing them with computer expertise. Her experience of over
25 years
in the data processing environment working for such firms as Mc Donnell Douglas,
Citi
Service, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Combustion Engineering, G.E. Consulting, Computer Task
Group, G.E. Medical , M& I Data, Statagem, Northwest Mutual, allows her to work at a high level of competence and skill to
provide Analysis, Project Management, System Implementation, and Training in a variety of
software and hardware. Maintaining her skills in a rapidly changing computer
environment is her focus, so that current skills leading technology can be provided to the
client.
JoAnn Matthews holds a BS with majors in Physics and Mathematics. She has taught High
School Physics and done research in semiconductors. She returned to school and received a
third major in Computer Science. While working as a Programmer and Systems Analyst
she completed an MBA with a major in management in 1984. She continued her
career in data processing and in 1992 she joined her husband in the firm to consult with
the clients in the management of their computers and software, as well as develop and
implement the firms computer system. |
